WordPress 6.0 Beta 1
This version of the WordPress software is under development. Test now on the LINK (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-beta-tester/) , run and test this version of WordPress on a test server.
You can test WordPress 6.0 Beta directly: install and activate the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (select the “Bleeding Edge” channel and the “Beta/RC Only” stream) or use WP-CLI to test: wp core update –version=6.0-beta1. The current target for the final version is May 24, 2022, which is about six weeks away. WordPress promises over 500 updates and 400 bug fixes in the new version.

Today you can already unlock your Chromebook with your Android smartphone to get to work quickly. In the coming months, this feature will be on paired Wear OS smartwatches, so you can instantly unlock and access your Chromebook and Android smartphone or tablet when you’re nearby.
Open or close your BMW with a digital car key, with your Samsung or Google Pixel smartphone. Starting later this year, with smartphones featuring Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, you won’t even have to take your smartphone out to use it as a car key. You can also securely and remotely share your car key with friends and family when they need to borrow your car. Google is already working to provide the product for other Android brands and other vehicle brands.
